Nothing is better than spending a day at the park with kids. Platte County Youth Explorer Series- Animal Science took place Barry Platte Park Platte County Parks today. Campers learned about Owls with Kathleen Missouri Dept. of Conservation and Elk with Annie and Jim Missouri State Parks. In the afternoon they researched an animal of choice, created an animal shelter, and then shared what they learned with their peers.
