Sam Graves, a longstanding representative of Missouri's 6th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently voiced support for the initiatives undertaken by President Trump. Through a series of tweets, Graves commended the administration's efforts in areas such as border security, energy production, and regulatory reform, reflecting the commitments that were made to the American public.

In a tweet dated April 29, 2025, Graves stated, "In his first 100 days, President Trump has moved quickly to secure the border, unleash American energy production and get rid of burdensome regulations. In the House, we’ve done the same. Promises made, promises kept. It’s exactly what the American people voted for and I’m". Graves echoed sentiments of the necessity and realization of the promises made during the election period.

Later on the same day, April 29, Graves highlighted the decline in border crossings, affirming the impact of President Trump's policies. He shared, "Border crossings are at record lows. In just his first 100 days, President Trump cut encounters at the border by 99.9%. Promises made, promises kept. That’s a win for Missouri and a win for America. Thank you, President Trump!" This tweet underscores the reduced encounters at the border as a significant achievement.

In a tweet the following day, April 30, Graves looked forward to legislative activity related to transportation and infrastructure. He expressed anticipation for the reconciliation proposal in the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. The tweet reads, "Looking forward to taking up the reconciliation proposal in @TransportGOP today. Our bill provides funding to the Coast Guard to secure the border, rebuilds our air traffic control system, cuts wasteful Green New Deal spending and finally gets EV’s to pay their fair share to fix".

Sam Graves has been representing Missouri’s 6th District since 2001, having succeeded Pat Danner. Before his tenure in Congress, Graves served in the Missouri House of Representatives and the Missouri Senate.
